FISH IN MY DESIGNS AND PATTERN BOOK, AND A SERENDIPITOUS ABSTRACT WATERCOLOUR
Fish
In preparation for my next negative watercolour painting, I have been collecting images of fish to draw. Some are more realistic, and some more stylised.
I have drawn them first with pencil and then with a permanent fineliner in my Rhodia designs and pattern book. This is becoming quite a useful reference library of patterns and shapes for my art work.
Paint palette art!
I was going to clean off the china dish I am using as a watercolour palette, ready for my next painting. However, I just had to photograph it first! This is random abstract art!
Glorious, isn’t it. All that texture, especially from the water droplets. I shall have to print this out and use it in collage. I can also manipulate this digital image. Some things you simply can’t just wipe away or bin, before you’ve looked at it in terms of Art.
