ONLINE ART COURSE – MODULE B – CHARCOAL – PROJECT 6 – LANDSCAPE SKETCHES

Today I completed the first landscape study on this project.

I have to say that I am not embracing charcoal. It is messy, and looks dirty. It’s all good experience, and I shall complete the module, but I very much doubt if I shall work in this medium again.

I really didn’t enjoy working on this picture. I found it difficult to erase the charcoal with the kneaded eraser to produce the highlights on the clouds, and my picture didn’t really look much like the teacher’s rendering of it!

Oh well, can’t win ’em all.

Try again next time and see if I do any better!
