COLOURED PENCIL DRAWING – BEATRICE HOT TUBBING
When we lived in our old house we had some concrete tubs on our patio, and for a while one of them was empty. Our old cat Beatrice (sadly no longer with us) discovered this and settled down in it. In the warm sunshine the concrete was really warm. We got a gorgeous photo of her luxuriating in it which I called “Beatrice Hot Tubbing.” It’s one of my favourite photos of her. What a blissful expression!

It is my hubby’s birthday this month, so I decided to do a pencil drawing for him of this.

It took me a couple of afternoons to do. I used 147 gsm Bristol Vellum drawing paper, and Amazon Basics coloured pencils. Off to EasyFrame to see if I can select a suitable frame and mount for this one.
Here is the coloured pencil drawing I did of Beatrice with my hubby for his birthday a couple of years ago. It is from my other favourite photo of her.

She was his all-time favourite kitty and he was devastated when she died. Those two were joined at the heart from the first moment they met when she was a little kitten. One of our present cats, Lily, is a close second in the mutual affection! She adores him but barely gives me the time of day. Fortunately, Ruby, the other one, loves her mummy!
