DANGLES WITH UV RESIN DISCS AND BEADS
Having finished adding UV resin to the small circular floral images, I have now made them into a set of dangles with beads. I have spent two afternoons and an evening working on them. It’s a pretty fiddly job and I was glad of my magnifying lamp, and after all this practice I think I am finally getting the hang of working with wire.
Here they are, in a small box.
I laid them out so you could see them more easily. Here is the complete set.
It was quite difficult getting the colour accurate, and I had to fiddle around quite a bit in my photo editor. This is the best I could do.
All the beads and wire came out of my stash. Most are random ones gleaned from junk jewellery and other sources, some bought on Ebay etc. There are also some paper beads that I have made and some Tyvek ones. These are particularly gorgeous because they are so textured, and have flecks of gold in them. There are also numerous bead caps and spacer beads.
Here are some closer shots of each individual colour. In the following photo, the one on the left is an additional one that I made without a UV resin disc, to use up some of the beads that were on my table!
This pair of almost identical dangles have paper beads.
These ones have Tyvek beads. The rich colour doesn’t really show up in the photo unfortunately.

They were quite difficult to photograph because the shiny surface reflected the ring light. I think you can get an idea of what they are like, though. They are all fitted with jump rings, ready for attachment to whatever project I choose.
This was a fun project to make.
